Very retro, simple but very nice, good for you hope you enjoy it
Thanks Andy, slowly getting to grips with it, one day I want to fixed wheel. Cheers.
That’ll tone your thighs up.
My thighs don’t need the toning, just this brain of mine. Really enjoying your blog by the way, cheers.
Thanks for visiting it. It’s a privilege to have international visitors.
A nice looking piece of kit. If it goes as well as it looks you’re a lucky fella.
Regards, Nick
Sadly, I don’t do it justice, except in my dreams. But I keep pedalling and enjoying. Are you still pedalling yourself? Great to hear from you, all the way from Croatia, how’s the weather?
Glad to see you blogging again.
It’s fancy, not sure about the lack of mudguards or those handlebars, but I’m sure I’d love it all the same. Is it a decent weight?
Light as a feather, I can pick it up with one finger. Hope to fit mudguards in near future, but have ridden the Sputnik in a few deluges already, and it’s been OKish. Eventually I want to put a Gates thingame drive on it. Cheers..
Looks damn nice 🙂
I wouldn’t fancy going to far on it around your neck of the woods, I need a few more gears to get up them there mountains!
No problem, I try to avoid the long ones, but just keep pedalling, I guess I’m used to the ones in my neck of the woods.
I agree with the others, it looks nice. But I think you may need some midgaurds, and without gears I hope you have a lot of down hill on your journeys.
Unfortunately, what comes down must go back up, even though I try to avoid the ‘ups’, but the ‘ups’ still don’t take away the joy of cycling, cheers
A thing of beauty mate, congratulations!
I like to think so, not riding it as often as I want to yet, hope to use it to commute, but need to fit mudguards, lights etc., did a quickish ( for me! ) 10 miles this morning, up and down the old valley here. Nice to hear from you Clive, hope all going well for you and your family, cheers.
